It is with regret that
West Sussex D.A announces the passing of Barry Taylor on Sunday 22nd
January.
Although Barry hadn't camped with us for a few years he was a committee
member and West Sussex D.A Chairman for several years. Many will know
him for opening sites early for any stewards who had to work and of
course Barry time!: keeping us in line after 11 o'clock.

Important Please Note: Please ensure that all adults arriving on
site must have a valid membership card with them, (That is anyone
staying overnight over the age of 18) or you will be turned away. This
also means family members.
The
last Newsletter was sent on: 11th May, if you didn't get it please let
me know and I will forward it on to you.
Due to
problems with the current mailing list we are moving to a new one,
everyone on the current list will be invited to the new one which means
you will need to confirm you would like to be added to it by clicking
the link in the email you will receive.

West Sussex D.A is hosting the Southern Region Meet in 2012 1st- 4th
June at Butcherland Farm. Ebernoe. This is
quite a large undertaking for the D.A and we would appreciate any help
you are able to give whether it is before the event or during the
weekend. Please see Pat

Theme for the event will be 'The Queens
Diamond Jubilee' Stay for the week on the THS starting Friday 1st June
till Sunday 10th June. Royal garden Party/Cream Teas/
Croquet/Horseshoes/ Boules.... Bands Music, Dancing, Diamond
entertainment... Ladies Day at the Royal........ More information on

Street Party, the Official BIG LUNCH
on Sunday 'By Royal
command' in line with
the rest of the country, hold your own street party with those camping
near you, Please remember to bring
food to share with your street, and any decorations, bunting, Union Jacks etc.

Fees for the weekend are: £17.25 Per person for 3 nights (Not per night
as you may have seen mistakenly advertised before)

IMPORTANT: The routes from A283 through
Northchapel to Butcherland Farm (Pipers Lane and Streels Lane)
are very narrow and NOT suitable for caravans and motorhomes,
though non-towing cars are ok. Caravans and motorhomes are
strongly advised to use a route in from Petworth or Wisborough
Green via Ball’s Cross/ Kirdford (signposted). Suggested
routes from the West and East: via the A272 towards Petworth |
